The Red Cross Groks New Media

The American Red Cross is beginning to use blogs, rss feeds, & other social media tools in their Disaster Relief efforts. Ike Pigott, Director of Communications and Government Relations for the American Red Cross in the 5-state Southeast Region, talks to Shel Holtz about how he came up with the concept of using social media for communication in emergencies & eventually in other ways.
