Over a week late but never dull, it's the cj's radio olio Top 25 for October! Yep, you can now journey to the olio's Top 25 page and see who YOU, the Listeners, rated as the best this month. Of the 26 tracks in the Top 25 this time, two artistes (Washboard Sam and H.P.Lovecraft) return from last month, we have both Bobby Fuller and Hunter Hancock pimpin' gigs, and there are a number of live recordings or radio airchecks you liked. Want to know more? Go to the olio's Top 25 page and Check It Out!

Celebrate John Peel Day with the olio!

Thursday, October 13, 2005, has been declared John Peel Day by the BBC. John Peel was a DJ on the BBC, & on pirate radio before that, for over 35 years. His taste, & his ability to embrace new forms of music, along with his skills as a Broadcaster, made him a legend, and a Hero to me.
On October 13, at 1200 GMT (7am USCDT), repeated at 2300 GMT (6pm USCDT), cj's radio olio will run a special show in honor of Mr. Peel. It will consist of many of my most-favorite tracks. I hope you will join me.
